Venue: Virtual Event

This workshop is ideal for business owners, leaders, HR professionals and managers

The value of high-performing workplaces has long been recognized. We often hear from top business leaders on how important high performing workplaces are to the success of business. In fact, research shows a direct link to both high productivity and profitability. As York Business Week explores how we rebuild for growth and thrive as a local economy, this is an ideal workshop to help you consider steps to achieving this.

So, what does a high performing workplace look like? What difference does it make?

In this interactive session we will explore high performing workplaces and look at their key characteristics to understand what it takes to become a workplace where people thrive, are motivated and engaged and deliver great results way beyond what you could imagine. Together we will discuss what we know works and what gets in the way and build an action plan to support and continue your journey to becoming a high performing workplace.

We’ll also be hearing directly from a business who have been working on this and the impact it has had on their recruitment, retention, productivity, and profit.

With over 25 years’ experience, award winning business owner, Michelle Mook from Pro-Development (UK) Limited will share some practical tools, techniques and tips for building high performing workplaces.

Pro-Development work with a wide variety of SMEs in Yorkshire and the Humber supporting the engagement and development of their people and teams. Since setting up the business in 2011, Michelle and her team have worked with a wide range of businesses helping them to engage their people, improving morale and motivation and helping to make their business a great place to work. Through their work developing leaders and building high performing teams, their clients are seeing positive results in both employee engagement and business results.
